Art Enrichment

Art helps foster creativity, self-expression, and critical thinking. It enhances problem-solving skills, emotional development, and confidence. Art also promotes cultural awareness and helps students develop collaboration skills. Overall, it supports well-rounded personal and academic growth.

Dance Enrichment

Education in the art of dance engages the artistic processes of creating, performing, and critical analysis. These processes require scholars to read symbol systems, use critical thinking skills, excel in nonverbal reasoning and communication, exchange ideas, work cooperatively and collaboratively with others, and interact within a multicultural society. More comprehensively, education in the art of dance develops kinesthetic and spatial learning as well as intra- and interpersonal knowledge of self and others.

Music Enrichment

Music enhances cognitive skills, creativity, and emotional expression. It improves academic performance by boosting memory, focus, and problem-solving abilities. Music helps develop discipline, perseverance, and social skills through group activities. It also fosters cultural awareness, builds confidence, and provides stress relief. Overall, music supports both personal and academic growth, making it a vital part of education.

Physical Education

Physical Education provides cognitive content and instruction designed to develop motor skills, knowledge, and behaviors for physical activity and physical fitness. Establishing physical education daily can provide scholars with the ability and confidence to be physically active for a lifetime.

Foreign Language

Foreign language classes, offered in our Middle School programming (5th-8th Grade), help enhance communication skills, cultural awareness, and cognitive abilities. Learning a new language boosts brain function, improves problem-solving, and opens global opportunities.

Social Emotional Learning
